Church Renovation & Repair Project
In the last three years, following significant damage to our Church facility during the storm on January 26, 2021, we have received generous donations from dedicated members and sponsors totaling approximately $95,000. These funds have been utilized to carry out repairs on our main sanctuary and two classrooms.
As stewards of God’s house, we are called to nurture and care for the spaces where we gather, serve, and grow together. At Southgate SDA Church, several essential areas—our kitchen, fellowship hall, restrooms, and classroom—remain in need of urgent repairs. We humbly reach beyond our congregation, inviting compassionate hearts to support this mission of restoration.
Through God’s grace and the kindness of donors, we have already invested $40,000 toward renewing our kitchen. Major milestones have been achieved, including the installation of a new electrical subpanel, the rebuilding of our pantry, the addition of a kitchen HVAC system, and the replacement of doors to the multipurpose room. We are now seeking an additional $10,500 to complete the kitchen rewiring and prepare for essential new equipment—stove, hood, microwave, sink, and more.
Our remaining goal is to raise $100,000 by January 2026. This will allow us to restore these vital spaces and resume our community outreach: feeding families in need, hosting free health and wellness seminars, and partnering with local officials to uplift our neighborhood.
