CURRENT AND UPCOMING EVENTS
Church Renovation & Repair Project
In the last three years, following significant damage to our Church facility during the storm on January 26, 2021, we have received generous donations from dedicated members and sponsors totaling approximately $95,000. These funds have been utilized to carry out repairs on our main sanctuary and two classrooms.
The remaining areas in disrepair include our kitchen, fellowship hall, restrooms and a classroom. To repair these areas, we are sharing the financial needs of Southgate SDA Church beyond our congregation to secure potential donors.
Our current goal is to raise $150,000 by March 2025. Having these areas repaired would allow us to resume community service projects such as feeding families and hosting free health and wellness seminars. Additionally, we will be able to partner with local officials to support neighborhood development endeavors.
Your gracious donations are appreciated. Please make check donations payable to Southgate Seventh-day Adventist Church (Ref: Building Fund). Since we are a non-profit organization, with a 501(c)(3) status, all donations are tax-deductible. The 2024 non-profit donation receipts will be distributed by January 31, 2025. The donors who contribute in 2025 will be issued a receipt by January 31, 2026.
