Church Renovation & Repair Project
Following the significant damage to our church facility from the storm on January 26, 2021, Southgate SDA Church has received approximately $95,000 in generous donations. These funds have allowed us to repair our main sanctuary and two classrooms.
As stewards of God’s house, we are called to care for the spaces where we gather and serve. Currently, several areas—including our kitchen, fellowship hall, and restrooms—still require urgent restoration. Through God’s grace, we have already invested $40,000 toward the kitchen, completing major milestones like a new electrical subpanel, a rebuilt pantry, and a new HVAC system.
We are excited to share that Tamaleko Electric is currently performing the kitchen rewiring pro bono, charging the church only for the cost of materials. This incredible partnership brings us much closer to the finish line.
Our overall goal is now to raise $40,000 to complete the kitchen renovation. These funds will allow us to install new cabinets and countertops, as well as essential equipment like a stove, hood, microwave, and sink.
Restoring this vital space is the key to resuming our community outreach—feeding families in need and hosting free health and wellness seminars.
