EVENT INFORMATION

“The Joy of the Lord” will provide an environment for attendees to experience spiritual revival and restoration by revealing the blessings in worshipping, serving, and exalting the Savior. The inclusion of powerful speakers, spirit-filled messages, and dynamic praise will make this a retreat you do not want to miss.

Dr. Heather J. Knight

Guest Speaker
is an accomplished leader in the field of education. She served as the Provost at Andrews University for three years and served as the 21st President of Pacific Union College for eight years. She promoted academic and (most importantly) spiritual excellence at every institution she served at and remains committed to improving the field of education. She is a loving mother, grandmother, and dedicated wife to Dr. Norman G. Knight. Above everything, Dr. Knight’s earnest desire is to serve the Lord with all her heart, mind, and soul!

is a gifted songstress who has traveled the world to share her musical talents at evangelistic crusades and convocations. Sister Bihm’s passion to glorify the Lord can be heard each time she uses her voice to honor Him with spirit- filled praise and worship. She is an adoring mother to three adult children and her heart’s desire is to be used by God to bless others!

ATTENDEE GUIDELINES:

  • Temperature checks will be conducted upon arrival. Anyone with a fever or any obvious contagious health symptoms will not be allowed access to the event.
  • Anyone exposed to someone diagnosed with Covid-19 within 14 days of the retreat will not be allowed on the campgrounds. They must quarantine at home as recommended by their medical provider.
  • MASKS are required.
  • Absolutely no “walk-ins” under any circumstances.
  • Limited space will be available for guests who want to attend on Sabbath only. PRE-registration is required before MARCH 1, 2022 for the “early bird” rate.
  • Absolutely no children are allowed for any reason. Each attendee must be at least 18 years old and there are no exceptions.
  • Alcoholic beverages and smoking are not permitted on the premises.
  • No pets are allowed.

CHECK-IN & CHECK-OUT SCHEDULE:

Friday, 4/29/22 – Registration is from 2:00-6:00 pm. Supper will be served from 6:00-6:45 pm.
Sunday, 5/1/22 – Check-out is at 11:00 am.
NOTE:   There are limited restaurants or grocery stores near the campus. If you plan on arriving early, please bring adequate provisions to sustain yourself until supper is served.

RETREAT INCLUDES

Two nights lodging in a college dorm, five vegetarian/vegan meals, materials, and admission to all services and workshops.
  • GRAF HALL – Has 52 rooms and has a centrally located bathrooms and showers;
  • NICHOL HALL – Has 46 rooms that share a bath with the adjoining room;
NOTE: All dormitory rooms consist of two single beds.

REGISTRATION DEADLINES

Application and payments must be submitted by FEBRUARY 21, 2022 to receive the sale or “early bird” rates. RESERVATION closes on MARCH 31, 2022. Due to the pandemic, space is very limited. We encourage early registration to secure your preferred dorm room. Once we reach full capacity, no additional applications will be accepted

REFUND POLICY

Before MARCH 1, 2022, full refunds will be given, minus a $35 processing fee.
Effective MARCH 2, 2022, no refunds will be allowed. If a guest is unable to attend, they have the option of selecting an alternate guest by APRIL 1, 2022. Please email us the new name change and contact information at southgatewomen@gmail.com.

SCHOLARSHIP INFORMATION

A financial scholarship, contributing to a Graf Hall dorm registration, may be available for first-time attendees. Please consider including a gift to the scholarship fund when completing your reservation.

OPTIONAL SERVICE

A private full-body massage (undressed or semi-undressed) or chair massage (fully dressed) will be offered on Friday afternoon and Saturday evening. The experienced masseuse team has over 15 years of professional experience. These exceptional massages are being offered at a reduced “retreat rate” of $60/per person for an hour. The full payment for this service is due at time of registration. Limited spaces are available, and reservations are secured once payment is processed.

One Time Payments ONLY!

Attendees will receive an email confirmation after submission of a complete application and full-payment. The confirmation email will contain additional information regarding the retreat. Partial payments will not be accepted.

NOTE: The first meal will be served on Friday evening at 6:00 pm. Remember to bring a filling snack if you plan to arrive early since there will be limited dining options on campus. WE HIGHLY RECOMMEND ARRIVING BEFORE 5:00 pm.
ABSOLUTELY NO CHILDREN - THE MINIMUM AGE FOR EACH PARTICIPANT IS 18 YEARS OLD AND THERE WILL BE NO EXCEPTIONS.
